Position title: External Content Manager

Reports to: Head of Content


This position will be in charge of leading several teams that upload pre-made content to Placeit. You would manage the mockup, design, logo and video upload teams in charge of preparing pre-made assets and uploading them to the Placeit system. You would manage 4 medium sized teams through team leads. You would also interact with our Mexican and Australian team to ensure the success of the operation.

Job Description

Key Duties:

  • Coordinate with the team leads of your area to ensure content is uploaded efficiently

  • Propose processes, automation and improvements

  • Help build the teams that will upload content

  • Care for your team and their professional growth

  • Report results and improvements to our Mexican and Australian teams

  • Coordinate new projects

Required Skills:

  • At least 6 years of experience managing a 7+ person team directly or 15+ person team indirectly

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Quick problem solver

  • Criteria to understand visual content

  • Highly motivated to propose new ideas and help their team generate and implement new ideas

  • Organized and orderly

  • Excellent planning and project management skills

  • Business-oriented decision making

  • Excellent grammatical and spoken English skills

  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software
