Position title: Fraud and Payments Analyst

Reports to: Fraud Risk Manager - Australia


You will be responsible for dealing with fraud risks arising from business activity, answering finance related support tickets, chargebacks and Paypal disputes.

Job Description

Key Duties

  • Analysing frauds alerts raised by the system and applying required actions such as disabling fraudulent buyers and authors

  • Work with payment providers to dispute claims where necessary

  • Work with payment providers resolution centre

  • Advising users when fraud triggering actions had been applied

  • Answering ad hoc finance, support and fraud related tickets raised by users

  • Work collaboratively with support to improve processes related to finance

  • Replying to author’s/customer’s queries regarding payments

Required Skills

  • High level of initiative

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • An eye for detail

  • Online Ecommerce experience

  • Understanding the chargeback system with banks

Great to Have Skills

  • Experience in a Fraud Analyst role

  • SQL Experience

  • Previous experience with a fraud related tool
