Position title: Content Writer
Reports to: Envato Australia
Produce content (marketing) for Envato’s publishing platforms, from Start at Envato to Tuts+. They will have a focus on SMB (and non-pro) audiences whereby content is more general (and les technical compared to some of the Tuts writers).
Write content for Envato’s publishing platforms, from Start at Envato to Tuts+.
Implement editorial calendars directed by Editors, including topics, formats & keywords.
Focus on non-professional audience such as SMBs, marketers, hobbyists etc.
Produce copy for different formats, e.g. listicles, hows tos, infographics, eBooks.
Write listicles for professionals, guided by the Editors (across different categories).
Translate written content from English to Spanish and vice versa.
Develop listicles that can be converted into video by the video producer.

2+ years experience in digital copywriting (brand, agency or freelance).
Experience in writing for SMB / marketing audience would be ideal.
Understanding of HTML
Content Management System experience
MS Word / Google Docs
Professional fluency in English and Spanish
Can understand and pick up subject matter quickly.
Can adapt tone for different platforms and audiences.
Can respond to an SEO-focused brief and use keyword research to shape content.
Can read content for spelling, grammar, tense, consistency, style
Can write and revise content based on stakeholder feedback.
Can ensure content is on brand and consistent in terms of style and quality.
Can translate content from English to Spanish (and vice versa).
Can implement a content plan/calendar and manage own workload.
